Tilt-up Concrete Panels
Tilt up Concrete Panels is the term used to describe the on-site manufacture and erection of concrete tilt panels for building and construction projects.
Tilt Panel Process
The process involves on-site forming and pouring of reinforced concrete wall panels, usually on the final floor slab, then the ‘tilting’ of the panel up into its final position using a large mobile crane, propped into position while the roofing structure is installed.

Tilt-up construction allows customized and flexible design
- Computer software is used to design your building to your exact specifications.
- The external and internal features of the building can be tailored to suit your needs.
- Site cast tilt panels can be manufactured in larger format panel areas than other wall panel methods, resulting in economical foundation and structural steel designs.
- Tilt-up panels have an inherent fire rating, due to the concrete used in their casting and as such can be placed on the boundary or as full height walls to provide a fire rating to the building or different areas within it.
- The economy of tilt panels is also evident where large panels are used allowing for the best utilisation of the crane and rigging crew.
